Some fun facts about nails

Since a long time ago, Egyptians already painted their nails and fingers with henna. In China, around 3000 BC, painted nails were strictly related to an individual's social position.

Gold or silver nails – later red and black – highlighted the individual's status as a member of the royal family. Long nails, in turn, indicated nobility.

Finally, in 1925, the first nail polish was launched, like those of today, in a pink tone, and which was applied only in the middle of the nails, leaving the half moon and the tip bare! Only in 1932, with the launch of the Revlon brand and its nail polishes, did nails begin to be painted entirely.
